quantumSolar

quantumSolar is the current signature investment-and-research-project of quantumReality GmbH.
Solar cells are one of the most important cornerstones of transitioning the world’s energy production from fossil-based to CO2-neutral future.
quantumSolar is a research project to drastically enhance the efficiency of photovoltaic by using Quantum Physics.
Our aim is to surpass the Shockley and Queisser limit of an estimated maximum theoretical efficiency of ∼ 30 % in a significant way by developing and deploying leading edge AI software to scan the vast chemical space for new organic materials supporting Singlet Fission and charge harvesting in a more robust and efficient way than currently possible.
This research project is planned to eventually become the seed for a production process with novel photovoltaic materials.
Over the next 2 years quantumReality will cooperate with a team of 2 Professors and 2 Post-Docs from Humboldt University via Humboldt Innovation GmbH.
